There are many visa subclasses, some of which are permanent and others which are temporary.
The main visa streams are
- Skilled
You must be under 45 years old, have a particular occupation required in Australia, with good English language ability, as well as work experience or an eligible recent Australian qualification. - Business
The Federal Government's Business Migration Program is seeking to attract people with a proven record of business skills and expertise, based on the level of experience gained as a successful owner, senior executive or investor, to develop a business in Australia. - Family
Obtaining a permanent resident visa as a partner is usually a 2-step process. Initially, the provisional visa is granted, and two years thereafter, the permanent visa. - Sponsored
Lawfully operating Australian employers can sponsor and employ skilled workers who have recognised qualifications and skills/or experience in particular occupations required in Australia. - Student
There are student visas which are temporary and are granted for the duration of the applicant's course. We assist in guiding the applicant with course selection, and obtaining a temporary student visa for their diploma or degree. - Retirement
An Investor Retirement visa is for people aged over 55 years and over who are able to make a substantial long term financial investment in Australia. It is a temporary entry visa only. It does not lead to permanent residence in Australia or to Australian citizenship. - Returning Residents
For current or former Australian permanent residents, or former Australian citizens to travel overseas and return as permanent residents.
